Duchess is a gorgeous garnet red. When I smudge it, it’s a very vibrant blue-pink so when worn, it makes my teeth so white! It’s a really lovely winter red lip.

Velvet Muse is definitely a gorgeous color however it pulled a lot more brown on me than pink. For those who love brown lip colors I say it’s a great color.

I waited a long time to try Affair, because I love Sorcery, Meet Me In Berlin and Simone, and I thought I didn’t need another brown lippie. But I love this one so much, too! It’s a little brighter and warmer to my eye, which makes it really fun as a contrast to a cooler eye color. Affair also seems to be just the right shade to coordinate with a camel-colored top and still brighten my face to avoid looking washed out. That’s quite nice given that most browns are more dull or deep, meaning they’re very natural looking but less brightening. Affair really does add something that was lacking in my collection! Oh yes, and also it’s just a beautiful color.
