Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not affect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

Emily was more glittery than I was anticipating, but building a matte shadow over it in the crease and a darker matte on the outer edge made a beautiful and easy look despite my beginner’s skills. It layered well over eye primer and blended very easily with a brush. It’s a bit too sparkly as a daily one and done for my taste, but others may enjoy that aspect of it. I’ll enjoy using it for more “full on” makeup occasions.

Described as a tarnished green with pink, violet, and silver metallic pearls, smoky, I knew it wouldn’t suit me- fair, blue eyed and well past 60. But it did and does, and it is gorgeous!
