Application
Apply Liquid Lurex directly to the eyelids with the applicator and blend out immediately with fingertips or a brush for a sparkling wash of colour. For more intense coverage apply a second layer for seamless full coverage disco drama. Liquid Lurex can also be used as an eyeliner either using a small liner brush or blended as a smoky line along the upper and lower lash line for a subtle flash of shimmering colour.
Once set the shadow dries to a completely smudge proof finish and will not move. Most skin types will not need to use primer underneath however, if you have very oily eyelids you can use your usual eye primer underneath as it will not affect the look or finish. When the party’s over, I would recommend using an oil-based makeup remover for easy removal. Screw cap on firmly after use, to prevent the product from drying out.

This is a lovely everyday colour for me. It has a softer glistening sheen to it rather than a sparkle (when compared to Emily, which I also got in my order) and it looks so lovely on my lids. I know it's limited edition but I hope Lisa brings it back again in the future. I woukd deffs repurchase once this one runs out. I do have issues with it creasing on my lids but I have super greasy lids and no primer - lasts longer than my normal eyeshadows and I can pat it or use a brush to shift it into place again.

I like to use this for a soft wash of colour with a little sparkle. It gives a sort of wet shine look that I really love. I've also worn it as a liner for nights out and it was such a beautiful pop on my lids. I have super greasy eyelids so I do have to be careful of creasing, but it lasts longer than my usual powder shadows. I saw a tip online to use a light powder under the liquid shadow and that does increase its staying power too!
