Annette Bening for the Baftas
Over the years, I’ve made up lots of actresses for the super glamorous Baftas and its always really exciting. This year I was very happy to be working with the extremely gorgeous and effortlessly chic American actress Annette Bening who was nominated in the best actress category (along with her co-host and friend Julianne Moore) for the ‘Kids Are Alright’.
Annette, like me, likes to keep her skin looking very natural with a dewy radiance (pretty easy to achieve with her flawless complexion). She had a number of dress choices, but settled on this stunning white Marchesa gown after a unanimous vote from all of us who were there. So I decided to team it with a classic red lip as I felt it perfectly complimented the dramatic simplicity of the dress.
Product-wise, It didn’t take much to make her up as Annette truly is a natural beauty with so much class and elegance. I love her wit, intelligence and, as you can see from the pictures, her absolutely amazing figure – ooh what I’d give for those upper arms!
