Each shade is secured magnetically in the compact, with an easy pop-in and pop-out mechanism - allowing you to effortlessly interchange any shade between your Lisa Eldridge palettes or with the individual refills, to create your own bespoke collectible curation.


 

Application

For a softly sculpted look…

Apply Upper West Side all over the eyelid area using fingertips, or Seamless Blend Brush No.8 and blend out at the socket line. Next, shade in the socket line with Supernaturally (for medium/deep skin-tones mix Supernaturally with Burnt Clove) using No.8, starting at the outer edge and working your way in towards the centre of the eye. Build to your desired intensity – you can diffuse the edges with a clean Seamless Blend Brush No.9. to keep everything
smooth and blended. Finally, trace along the lash-line with Burnt Clove, using Seamless Blend Brush No.15, starting at the outer edge of the eye and working the colour about a third of the way in.

For a bold look…
Apply Upper West Side all over the lid using fingertips before building depth at the centre and outer edge of the eye with Dorian using Seamless Blend Brush No. 8. If you prefer an elongated shape, gently pull the colour outwards at the very corner of the outer edge of the eye. Apply Debutante over the eyelids using fingertips…or for full on drama, dampen Seamless Blend Brush No. 7 with a spritz of Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist, before pressing Debutante on the eyelids. Finish with a pop of shine at the inner corners of the eye using Brush No. 15 to apply White Tie.

    Fabulous Colours even on pale skin

    I aesthetically like these colours, but often they don’t play well on my skin tone (surprisingly fair for dark eyes and hair). This could not be further from the truth with this palette. The dark green/khaki Sahara is such a true colour and is very flattering. Luckily for me, my kit arrived the day I was seeing Robbie Williams, so perfect to recreate my 90s heyday. I used the Firefly (gold) all over the lid. This shade looks fantastic on the dark-skinned model in the promos, ut I was pleasantly surprised how good it was on my pale skin. This is the genius of Lisa’s palettes, they really do suit all skin types.

    Such wearable shades

    These are such unexpectedly wearable shades. I found myself wanting each one, which is very rare in most palettes.

    These can be toned down for a more muted daily look, but can be layered to create a more dramatic look for a special occasion.

    If I were to have one criticism, it's that my favourite shade, Mercurial, has that green glitter fallout that lands all over my cheeks, but I embraced it and just applied my blush over it and enjoyed a glittery fairy look. I guess that if I applied it with a wet brush, that I would encounter less fallout.

    Effortless, flawless, stunning

    I am now obsessed with these palettes. Speaking of Muse specifically, it is just the perfect assortment of rosy colors that give you such a beautiful look with barely any product and barely any effort! These shadows are not the 2016 super pigmented type. They are buildable and in fact I feel they perform their best when layered and layered and layered! I have used these shadows with expensive brushes (Rephr) and cheaper brushes (Morphe, Real Techniques) with nearly identical results. I cannot say enough good things about these formulas and color stories. If you want something that is effortless, timeless, and beautiful that won’t fail you, these shadows are for you! I will say Muse is quite soft and natural, so not the palette for a super pigmented look although eyeshadow primer can make these more intense.
