Red Carpet - Sophie Dahl

08 Nov 2011

Last night I did Sophie Dahls make-up for the Harpers Bazaar ‘Women Of The Year’ Awards at Claridges. I kept skin fresh and natural with the main focal point of the make-up, Sophie’s incredible eyes. I think she looked simply beautiful!

This is what I used and where:

Skin:

Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua in 10

Dior Diorskin Nude Concealer in 002

Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre

Eyes:

Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Eye Shadow in Eboui (a rich red/plum/brown shade) – All over the lid area and blended up into the socket line

Suqqu Dual Eye Shadow 04 Bokuyu - the darker shade from the palette was used at the outer corners of the lid, socket line and along bottom lashes

Hourglass Script Precision Liquid Liner in Jett - this fabulous liner was used all along the upper lash line and flicked up at the outer edge to create a subtle ‘cat eye’ and also to further define lower lash line at outer corner.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara in Black - Lashings top and bottom

Ardell Eyelashes Natural Style 110

Suqqu Brow Powder

Cheeks:

Bourjois Little Pot Rouge in Rose Eclat 15 - for fresh, glowy pink cheeks

Lips:

No7 Lip Pencil in Nude - All over the lips for definition and to create a long lasting stain

YSL Rouge Pur Couture in Beige Tribute 10
