HOW TO USE

Liquid Silk is richly pigmented, so Lisa recommends starting with one swipe or two dots of the matte liquid eyeshadow, applied with the sponge-tip applicator.
Blend immediately with fingers or a brush for an even wash of colour.
For more intensity, add another layer of the lid-smoothing formula. It builds up beautifully with no creasing and no crepey finish.

Lisa’s tip: It’s best not to apply Liquid Silk on top of rich moisturisers or eye creams, as this may compromise the smoothing and staying power of the liquid formula.

Yes, Liquid Silk is water-resistant. It’s one of the reasons Lisa recommends using an oil-based cleanser to take it off, like her luxuriously balmy, oil-to-milk Skin Enhancing Treatment Balm Cleanser.  

Liquid Silk is perfect for oily eyelids. The formula is lid-smoothing and long-lasting, and once it sets, it stays exactly where you want it. Apply it to clean, dry eyelids to enjoy its full lasting power.

    Love this formula

    For my light-medium skin tone, this is going to be more of an evening or going out look. Also blends beautifully with Anjelica or Emily for a bit of added dimension. I mix it on my hand with an angled fluffy shadow brush and it’s a gorgeous “one” and done.

    Can I just say thank you for this no mess, secure packaging? I wish all liquid shadows and glosses closed like this.

    I was skeptical to try a liquid eyeshadow because I have had zero experience using them. I now own three of Lisa Eldridge's Liquid Eyeshadows. Very easy to use. I have used both my finger, as well as a specific makeup brush for liquids products, to blend the shadows. They last a long time, and can be mixed together for a customized eyeshadow shade.

    Top notch formula even for oily eyelids!

    I have very oily eyelids , yet these have worked incredible well with no problem at all even after 10 h ! Veeery easy to apply and a little goes a veeeery long way!

    The Best matte liquid eyeshadow there is

    The hype is real. Blends like a dream. Is kind to maturing lids. Minimizes creasing. It creases just a tiny little bit after about 8-10 hours of wear but bear in mind that EVERYTHING creases on me. So for everyday I just blend a bit of liquid silk (use less than you think, it's pigmented and strechable) and dab a bit of luster shadow on top with my fingers. Quickest eye makeup ever. For a very long day or heavier eye makeup I'd use an eyeshadow base from a Swedish makeup artist brand LH (forgive me Lisa, I had to, it's the only thing that works on super oily but mature and wrinkly lids and I'm hellbent on spreading this knowledge). But normally I use Liquid Silk. Have all shades so this should tell you something :-D
