This lipstick has one of my favourite finishes - a nice shine without being too glossy, and it feels beautiful on. The wear time isn't that long, but it feels so nice on that you want to keep putting it on anyway! It also works beautifully as a blush - the most natural finish for a blush that I have ever used.

Painterly is what I would describe an everyday lipstick with a twist. It's a mauvey-brownish shade, but with a bit more depth than usual, which means ir doesn't wash me out like most pink/mauve-brown shades do!
What I like about the Lusciously Lucent range in general (I have another shade, but it's discontinued) is how they don't dry my lips and set in all the cracks, unlike most lip products do.
