WHY LISA CREATED IT

“I wanted to achieve with makeup what painters achieve with the ‘Velatura Technique’ – also known as ‘Veil of Colour’ or ‘Glazing’. The technique involved applying a semi-translucent wash of paint, which allowed for translucency, so the under layers of paint showed through, resulting in realistic colour shift, luminosity and added dimension.”

HOW TO USE

Swipe directly onto lips and blend onto cheeks with fingertips for a soft, buildable veil of colour.

For an effortless, low-maintenance monochrome look, tap a little onto the brow bone.

Wear alone for a fresh, dewy colour, or pair with Enhancing Tint for a perfected, skin-like base with a natural flush of sheeny colour.

Make sure to close your Velatura securely (push the cap firmly down until you hear the click) to keep your formula fresh!

    So Gorgeous

    This is such a great one-and-done product. I used it for a no-effort look for a BBQ and a polished, professional but not trying-too-hard look for an intro call. My husband isn't a fan of lipstick or gloss because it gets on him, but he didn't mind this at all (five stars)

    Love the product!

    I've bought 3 different shades and they are all stunning. I had a little problem with one who detatched from the base, but it was quickly resolved and Lisa's team sent me a new one. So, a great experience!

    Mostly I wanted to write this review because since I started using the velatura balms my boyfriend is always complimenting me "wow, I love your new fragrance". I had to reveal him yesterday that it wasn't a fragrance but... the blush!:D Such a suttle and lovely smell.

    Translucent and Stunning

    Absolutely love this shade (Pomegranate Glace) as well as Rose Madder. Both do exactly what Lisa describes in her video. It leaves this dewy flush on my cheeks, with no stickiness at all. I love cream blushes and have many, but this product looks different. it truly is translucent on my skin, making me look flushed rather than "made-up." They are lovely products on the lips too, with enough pigment and balminess to feed luscious.
