WHY LISA CREATED IT

“I wanted to achieve with makeup what painters achieve with the ‘Velatura Technique’ – also known as ‘Veil of Colour’ or ‘Glazing’. The technique involved applying a semi-translucent wash of paint, which allowed for translucency, so the under layers of paint showed through, resulting in realistic colour shift, luminosity and added dimension.”

HOW TO USE

Swipe directly onto lips and blend onto cheeks with fingertips for a soft, buildable veil of colour.

For an effortless, low-maintenance monochrome look, tap a little onto the brow bone.

Wear alone for a fresh, dewy colour, or pair with Enhancing Tint for a perfected, skin-like base with a natural flush of sheeny colour.

Make sure to close your Velatura securely (push the cap firmly down until you hear the click) to keep your formula fresh!

    Rose Madder

    Really love this. I would use this if I am in a rush, its like a 2 in 1, I personally wouldn't always need to use a highlighter if I wanted to go for a subtle glow, its got it all. Its a 1 and done product for me. I like to keep my kit very minimal (which has alot of Lisa's other products anyway). I love the colour too, it works really well with so many skin tones.

    Very versatile.

    Good alternative to the standard cream blusher. Easy to apply and gives a dewy finish to the cheeks. Not heavy or dense looking. Easy to build up if required and great for a sweep of colour on the lips.

    Velatura Balm - cinnamon bun

    I absolutely love this product which I’ve used every day since it arrived! A beautiful balm which is effortlessly easy to use with a lovely texture and colour. I prefer it to all my other blushes and it’ll be perfect to take on holiday. The only trouble is, I want it in more colours!

    I am loving the colour

    I like the idea of a stick for the cheeks and lips. But I must admit I do prefer a classic blush or lipstick. I am still waiting on the original blush from LE. This is more of my preference.

    On the other hand the colour cinnamon bun is amazing. I am quite pale and it still looks amazing, when used sparingly, but I like the colour more than rose madder.
