I'm a big fan of Lisa's makeup, but find it hard to get excited by blusher, especially after being chronically underwhelmed by them. I have plenty of pink blushes, but bought it anyway. I'm very glad I did!

It's got the perfect amount of pink without leaning into doll territory. I'm pale with a neutral but cool‑leaning complexion, and dry/sensitive skin which can look almost ruddy with the wrong shade. It adds a subtle glow (definitely not shiny), and doesn't enhance texture I'd rather not draw attention to. I actually put it on the back of my hand first, saw how sheer it was, so put it straight on and was surprised at how much pigment it gave after a couple of swipes – I realised I'd warmed it up by swatching on my hand first, hence more pigment (d'oh!) I wasn't wearing any makeup underneath, and was a little worried it was too bold/I'd applied too much. After a few gentle pats it just looked so natural and healthy, not like I'd been stood at a bus stop since January. Didn't need to reapply during the day, which was something I wondered about after first trying it.

Cinnamon Bun's color turned out on me exactly as I hoped, a lovely pinky brown. Like some others have said, I use this as a Blonzer too. I have different undertones in my lips and complexion (purple lips/neutral skin) and this miraculously pulls pinky brown on both my lips and cheeks. That doesn't happen very often. The balm texture is as advertised; it is glossy on both the lips and cheeks. I will probably mostly use it on the lips as I have very oily skin. It is too emollient to use as a blush unless I am looking for a cheek highlight look. I'm not docking the stars for use as a blush because that is not the product's fault it won't last on my oily cheeks. I would recommend this if you are looking for something hydrating or glossy. As others have said, this won't be for you if you are looking for longevity in a lip and/or cheek product.
