“I wanted to achieve with makeup what painters achieve with the ‘Velatura Technique’ – also known as ‘Veil of Colour’ or ‘Glazing’. The technique involved applying a semi-translucent wash of paint, which allowed for translucency, so the under layers of paint showed through, resulting in realistic colour shift, luminosity and added dimension.”

    Perfection!

    This type of product is right up my alley as most days I prefer a more natural makeup look, but you can definitely build. I purchased 2 shades and both are gorgeous, but Cinnamon Bun is absolute perfection with my skin tone and gives the exact look I love. So easy to use, blends like a dream and this is the first lip and cheek product I have ever used (and I have tried so many) that truly works on, and feels good on lips and gives really nice pigment/texture on the lips (most times I find lip & cheek products are great on cheeks but color is really off on my lips). If you are on the fence, just try it, it will not disappoint. Another stunning product from Lisa!

    WOW my dream!

    The texture is heaven and the colors are gorgeous. I am a very cool toned winter and have been wishing for colors that would suit me and Rose Madder and Hellebore Heaven are a dream come true. Found my daily go to!

    Pale muted olive here who loves using these kinds of shades. The formula is so nice and I think this is a must for people who feel not themselves without blush. Easy to build and blend which means most of the time you end up applying hellebore to various parts of the face like a painter :))) Excited for cinnamon bun next YAY

    Beautiful Formula, Wonderful Color!

    Now that I've had the chance to try the Velatura Balm, I have to say...I absolutely love it! The formula feels beautiful, and looks beautiful. The color and texture the balm imparts reminds me of the delicate shades of an Impressionist painting. I can't wait to try them all!
