how to use

  1. For maximum staying power, start by applying a lip pencil, like Sculpt & Shade Lip Pencil, in a matching tone all over your lips. This creates a base stain.
  2. Using a lip brush – Lisa’s No. 20 Lip Brush is perfect – apply your shade of Rouge Experience in thin layers. 
  3. Take your time to press it into the lips. The goal is to create an indelible stain that lasts. 
  4. Finish by redefining the lip line with pencil to sculpt, emphasise and enhance your natural shape, creating a polished, sculpted lip look with true longevity.

FAQs

  1. Remove the lid of your Refillable Lipstick.
  2. Hold the Refillable Lipstick in one hand by the middle ring. Using your other hand, firmly grip the base of the Refillable Lipstick.
  3. Firmly pull the base away, removing the Refill.
  4. Take your new Rouge Experience Refill and, holding it by the middle ring, remove its aluminium over-cap gently, making sure not to twist the bullet up.
  5. Insert your new Refill into your Refillable Lipstick case. Wait until you hear the click!
  6. Store your Refills with their aluminium over-cap, ready for their next use.

Most refills are made with multiple material, plastics or magnets, as they are much easier to produce. But ultimately this renders them non-recyclable. After many years of perseverance, Lisa has created Rouge Experience, with a case made entirely of aluminium for a truly recyclable, refillable lipstick.

Your empty Refill and aluminium over-cap can be put into the recycling bin, along with your household recycling.*

Clean any lipstick residue from the refill mechanism with a cotton bud/Q-tip/tissue before recycling.

    IN LOVE!!

    I have to admit I was initially drawn to this lipstick because of the gorgeous vintage inspired case. It's a collectors item in itself and the personalisation makes it extra special! But I'm truly stunned by how much I love the product inside too! For context I have very dry sensitive lips and I struggle to find shades that aren't too warm or too cool for my complexion. I don't usually wear lipstick as have never been able to find one that works for me. I bought the shade Lisa 178 and it's PERFECT. It's a gorgeous neutral pink shade that immediately brightens and livens up my whole face as soon as I put it on. Its subtle enough to pass as a nude shade on me with just one layer of product but can also be built up with an extra layer for a more dressed up look. The formula is also amazing, it feels super light and balmy on my lips and not at all heavy or dry. I haven't experienced any irritation to my lips when wearing it. It's also unscented and doesn't have a heady artificial smell which I was relieved about. I'm so happy to finally have found a lipstick that I love! My only minor complaint is that the lid is a little loose and doesn't snap closed securely which isn't very satisfying. But it still feels so luxurious to use and I love that it's reusable. I intend to repurchase the same shade when I run out :)

    Unfortunately too sheer for me and doesn’t last at all. I bought a few other shades as well and had to throw them all away. Very pretty colors, but will never wear them. I noticed to that the shades aren’t listed on the tube so you would have to keep them in the box to know what they are. Defeats the purpose of having it in a pretty tube and it is very pretty.

    I’ll stick with the True Velvet and Velveteen and also Insanely Saturated lipsticks. Highly pigmented and lasts all day!

    Absolutely Gorgeous Lipstick

    I recently got the rouge experience lipstick in the shade Medici as a birthday gift for my best friend . I had her initials engraved on the case and it made the perfect , most special present. She absolutely loves it as she is a lady who likes a cool toned lipstick . I also have my own tube of Medici and it’s a lovely mauvy, rosy berry shade that manages to have depth and the moodiness I like for autumn while also being extremely wearable as a daytime shade too. I have the formula in other shades as well and the formula is so creamy and comfortable and the lipstick is well pigmented and builds up easily without looking cakey . This is a perfect formula for me as I prefer more of a satin finish and it’s so easy to wear . I love the quality of the Rouge Experience lipsticks and the thought and care that has obviously gone into the case design and the sustainability of the product. They are absolutely beautiful and make a fabulous gift for the special people in your life .
