Massage slowly at the roots, working back and forth for as long as possible. Then lightly zigzag towards the tips, finishing with a glide through the ends.

Well, I know what took me so long - I have a small stash of about 5 mascaras I needed to use before buying more but I could not resist any longer. My suspicions about Burnt Umber were correct.. it makes blue eyes come alive. Perfect for the daytime when I do not want a cosmetic look but I do not want to look bland or washed out either. It is the best of both worlds - natural looking but amplifies eye color at the same time. The red undertone is very pronounced on the website and on the wand IRL, but on the lashes I do not see the red color at all. It is just a lovely warm brown, which is so hard to find. I can see this working equally well for all eye shades as it is not the traditional brown color we are used to. Genius formulation, Lisa! Bravo!
I pair it with the eyeliner in the same shade. Such a great color.

I wasn’t a massive fan of that black but something about this shade is extra special, it gives definition but in a more subtle way, really stunning
