Stunning colour!
Absolutely gorgeous colour and formula. I wouldn't call it a brick red, it reads fairly cool-toned on me. It reminds me of the 90s Revlon matt lipsticks, but so much more comfortable. I really don't love the wand or shape of the doe foot though.

great formula, incredible pigment
My go to lipstick is Velvet Jazz, to which the Velveteen Liquid Lip Colour is a great addition for more dramatic looks, and an even longer lasting colour.

Slightly muted, ultra wearable warm-toned red
I already had the Gloss Embrace and lip liner in Dragon, and bought this for a longer lasting matte lip. It's a super wearable red that can be blurred out or defined for a high contrast look. I love the Velveteen liquid lips, only wish there were more colours in the range.
