HOW TO USE

  1. For maximum staying power, start by applying a lip pencil, like Sculpt & Shade Lip Pencil, in a matching tone all over your lips. This creates a base stain.
  2. Using a lip brush – Lisa’s No. 20 Lip Brush is perfect – apply your shade of Rouge Experience in thin layers. 
  3. Take your time to press it into the lips. The goal is to create an indelible stain that lasts. 
  4. Finish by redefining the lip line with pencil to sculpt, emphasise and enhance your natural shape, creating a polished, sculpted lip look with true longevity.

Most refills are made with multiple materials, plastics or magnets, as they are much easier to produce. But, ultimately, this renders them non-recyclable. So, it took years of perseverance from Lisa (and a self-confessed stubborn streak!) to create Rouge Experience, with a case made entirely of aluminium for a truly recyclable, refillable lipstick.

The golden casing is made entirely of aluminium. Strong and pleasingly sturdy, it’s inspired by Lisa’s vintage makeup collection; a treasure trove of beauty artifacts, some centuries old, that have stood the test of time.

In terms of payoff and finish, Rouge Experience sits somewhere between the semi-sheerness of Luxuriously Lucent Lip Colour and the pigmented intensity of True Velvet. It has a soft, subtly luminous sheen with a lip-smoothing blur.

    I found my My Lips **** Better shade!!!

    As a light medium olive tone with lips that almost look lavender- lipstick is tough. My last order I ordered three shades. All three different formulas too. And I love them all! All winners. This one is what I have been hunting for- my lips but better. I wear the skin tint in t6.5- and this is just enough deeper than my lips to add something- but not too deep it looks too made up. The formula is heaven. So smooth. I previously tried the velvet and like it also but as a dry skin woman in her late 40s for every day I like a bit more glide.

    This shade is gorgeous. For a medium skin tone with olive undertones- cooler leaning- this could be your perfect shade too. I am positive it works on a range of skin tones - it’s so gorgeous/ but for me I need to avoid anything with orange in it - and this hits the mark.

    Just as awesome as Velvet Blush

    This ist the perfect everyday variant for Velvet Blush for me! Love the texture and the colour, goes amazingly well with blues and purples in my wardrobe or anytime I don't want to wear the warmer colours.

    Finally a red that works for my skin tone!

    Thanks to Lisa’s color experts, we found a shade that actually works. I’ve been rocking my red lip since! My girlfriends asked “what’s the occasion?” When I showed up at a causal outdoor potluck with a red lip? Who needs an occasion? That said, this is the most dreamy formula of lipstick I’ve EVER worn, creamy, moisturizing yet velvety and long lasting. Only thing is the beautiful case deosn’t stay closed so cap rattles around in my bag a lot and the other day the lipstick itself feel out on the floor of a restaurant bathroom. So the fit in the but and the cap fit could be slightly improved. But is is such a gorgeous and glamorous case!
