Red Carpet - Gabriella Wilde
Last night I made up the insanely gorgeous and very lovely Brit actress Gabriella Wilde for the world premiere of The Three Musketeers 3D. After doing a very natural look for the three days of press junket prior to the premiere we decided to glam things up considerably for the red carpet. Gabriella really is a natural beauty with skin most of us would die for! To compliment her deep red Gucci dress we worked a full on 70's glamour vibe for the hair and make-up. Purple and plum shadows with a touch of grown up glitter, pink blush and a two shades of red lip stain combined with very natural dewy skin to keep things looking modern and fresh.
How I created the look and what I used:
Skin:
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in shade B40 - just a very thin layer as a base
Clinique Airbrush Concealer in 04 Neutral - again a teeny amount here and there.
Chanel Poudre Universelle - applied all over the t-zone
Eyes:
Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad in Violet Dusk - using all four shades... the darkest shades at the outer corner top and bottom only and the brightest purple shade all over the lid and socket. Finishing off with the pale lavender glitter shade across the inner third of the eyelid.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner in Diamond Black Purple - along the entire top lash line
Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Plum Ink - all along the lower waterline
Eyeko Big Fat Lashes Mascara in Black - Top and bottom lashes
Suqqu Brow powder palette 02
Cheeks:
Chanel Joues Contraste Pink Petale…applied in a c-shape around the cheekbones and apple of the cheeks
Lips:
Mac Ruby Woo – was applied first using a lip brush all over the lips. Then I blotted and removed it all with cleanser and cotton wool bud. It left behind a lovely red stain.
No7 Stay Perfect in Cherry was then applied to the lips using my finger in a patting motion. This took the shade down to a deeper shade of red, more compatible with the dress, and made the application feel very modern and young.
For application tips watch my purple smoky eyes tutorial.

I went along to the premiere to see the movie with my son last night and really enjoyed it. Perfect for anyone who likes an action packed, fun and highly entertaining swashbuckling yarn! The film opens in the UK on the 12th October.
