Yes, you can wear Sculpt and Shade on its own. The ultra-blendable lip pencil allows you to fill lips effortlessly. No dragging, no settling in lines. Just a soft-focus haze of believable colour.

If you do want to pair your matte lip pencil with a lipstick, Lisa recommends the buildable, balmy finish of Luxuriously Lucent Lipstick. In a raft of nuanced, natural shades, it can be worn in a sheer layer to fill and emphasise your sculpted lip, then topped with Baume Embrace Melting Lip Colour to lend the illusion of added fullness.

Yes, you can use Sculpt and Shade for a bold lip. Follow Lisa’s technique and “apply your lipstick first, following your natural lip shape, then apply your liner after… Use it to add a little bit of bulk or use a Q-tip to take a bit off one side, as needed.”

    My lips but better

    I bought the C1 lipliner again because the shade is a touch more intense than my natural lip color, making it perfect for everyday wear. I keep it in my handbag. I like using it as a base for my other Lisa lipsticks, such as Sunday Matinée, Romy, Le Mépris, or Blush Lightly.

    Love this pencil

    I've never been much of a lip pencil user but I got this one to use with my favourite Ashes of Roses lipstick and I love it. A quick touch-up when my makeup is finished is so much easier with this pencil.

    Works As A Perfect Neutral For Me!

    I love the Sculpt & Shade pencils, and this shade is no exception. I love to pair it with the Epanoui Baume Embrace when I just want a light, pinky-neutral lip, and it also works as a great base for most of my pinky Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. It makes a great alternative on days when I want more pink, rather than beige neutral pencil. The formula is great too; it glides on smoothly, without pulling, tugging, or dragging, and wears beautifully.

    This is one of my favorite every day pencils. I love it!
