I put off getting "Meet me in Berlin" for a long time because of the price, but it was always in the back of my mind. I finally splurged and I am so glad I did. This formula is so nice. So comfortable and smoothing. Thank you, Lisa, for not putting fragrance in these. I am a brown lip balm junkie. You name it, I've probably tried it lol. Most brown balms in a truly comfortable formula are glossy. The thing that makes this really stand out is the more matte/ satin/ lucent quality. I've never tried anything that had this look that wasn't drying. I don't have anything like it. You'd think as a balm person I would go more for "Sweet fig" in the baume embrace line, but that one was a pinky mauve on me and I ended up never wearing it. It definitely wasn't brown enough. If you love brown colors, Meet me in Berlin is the one to try. :)

I'm a massive fan of 1960s makeup (and mod fashion) and I love that the name of this lipstick pays homage to Brigitte Bardot (and Jean Luc Godard). I prefer peachy nudes to camel/cafe nudes and this works like a dream. I use this when I prefer a sheer, subtle lip with a balmy finish. It feels comfortable it doesn't feel dry on my lips at all.

I never cease to be amazed at how many differing versions of the colour red Lisa can invent! This one is a clear, truer red than many she has created, but judged against Ribbon, the truest red of them all, this is a more subtle, nuanced iteration of the colour. It has a purity to it and is definitely not 'dirty' or 'spicy' like Lili (which I love),; rather it has a richness to it which aligns it more closely with Ribbon.
