I don't often write reviews but wow, I finally received and tried my Muse velveteen today and am blown away by the formula. My lips get dry really easily so I usually avoid everything other than glosses and balms but I thought I'd give this matte liquid lip a try because it's by Lisa and I'm so glad I did. So comfortable, hydrating and great lasting power. I wiped it off to eat some food hours later and my lips actually felt more hydrated after than normal, unbelievable! Already plotting which colours to buy on my next purchase...

I kind of selected this product on a whim, don't even remember why haha - but I'm glad I did, it is such a beautiful color! Works great for my cool/muted skin tone. I will probably prefer wearing it with the more diffused, "fluffy" application method - I think that is just the more realistically wearable way to use this formula (I also have the Fawn shade, which I like to wear this way).

So pretty I love this color! My daughter loved mine so I had to buy another one, she is 20 years with a shade darker skin than me. I had bought both the True Velvet and Velveteen in this shade and we both like the Velveteen better because it lasts all day, even after eating and drinking. Somehow it’s soft and doesn’t dry and sooo easy to apply. This color is one of my favorites. And my daughter will only wear this color. Please come out with more colors!!!! You have to try this. The best out there.

As someone who has struggled with how dry liquid lips can be, this is the best I have used. Comfy to wear, and long wearing, even for someone like me who seems to eat lipstick off their lips. Gorgeous shades too.
