The majority of the Rouge Experience Refillable Lipsticks are strong, often dark, and bold colours. So if you want pastels, perhaps look elsewhere. Rae is a dark red, smooth and creamy to apply and striking when on. It is perhaps the darkest red in this range and all the more striking for that. It gives the wearer ( or at least this one) a sense of strength and power. The range as a whole is notable for its eco credentials and that alone is praiseworthy. The colours add another dimension as if wearing these colours with pride.

Lili has fast become my favourite lipstick, closely (but not too closely!) followed by Velver Rain. I love the slightly 'dirty' redness - and yes, it is like chillis! I Happen to have a shirt that is a practically identical colour and, wearing the lipstick with it, I somehow feel invincible .... The lipstick is creamy and easy to apply, and the colour pay-off I find extremely good; better than, for example, Ashes of Roses, which I thought was going to be my new favourite, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to last so long. i would, however, unreservedly recommend Lili to everyone!

I love this case! It's very sturdy. Worth the extra money to have it engraved. Reminds me of old Hollywood . I bought other refills and love that I can switch them out with the case as needed. Had to get Audrey since it was inspired by Audrey's iconic lipstick color. Really hoping some of the matte finish lipsticks make it to the "refillable" line. Overall one of my favorite makeup purchases I've made in recent years.
