Wide-Eyed 60s Lashy Dolly Eyes

This is the longer version (including products) of the video I made for the Biba and Beyond exhibition. Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki asked me to re-create the look the girls wore in the shop in the mid 60s. Although there were film and theatre make-up artists at the time, there werent any working in fashion and shops like there are today so Barbara used to do each girls make-up herself to demonstrate how she wanted them to look. Barbara lives in Miami so we discussed the look over the phone in the run up to the show and she made me a special set of drawings to help me capture the look perfectly.

So this is the 1966 Biba Dolly Look as directed by the woman herself! Hope you like it X
