Beauty shoot for Vogue

This is not a tutorial, it's a behind the scenes film of a beauty shoot I worked on in this months Vogue magazine. It was a great brief about the return of make up. It never went away as far as I am concerned. I hope you like the film.

Is it just me or does it seem that every single video where Lisa works with a model, they all seem to be dead behind the eyes? Then when she working with real people (her assistant, herself, the nail people ect.) they all seem to be full of life and not just objects. I hate to generalize or put people into stereotypes, but I get the feeling a good portion of models are kind of empty people. It's really sad, I like seeing people happy!

Although she's obviously gorgeous too, it must be a bummer for the model that the make up artist is more way more beautiful.

Wow, that was a fantastic insight into your work. I never knew how much creative license you were given; you really put the "artist" into Makeup Artist. :) Look forward to more videos!

@ChooLove09 Ha! Thats hilarious...I like your style! You're a true Vogue girl! I have another beauty story coming out in there in a month or so, look out for it. Thanks for watching Lisa x

I own that issue (along with every one from the last 12 years) and I thought it was odd they were doing a "return to make-up" article. Like you, I never thought it went away. It's the one thing I spend copious amounts of my disposable income on (I even once didn't pay my Council Tax because I wanted a ltd edition Chanel compact). Excellent job, though, and I copied the eye make-up for a work do, too! xx
