Lisa reviews Ellis Faas make up
This video shows my first reaction to the new Ellis Faas range. Ellis is a well respected make-up artist from Amsterdam who's work I have always admired. I was excited to see what innovation she had come up with. Already on sale across Europe, it launches into Berdof Goodmans in NY this month and Liberty London in February.

Interesting packaging! It can be quite empowering to load the barrel with the products. Almost like loading a gun barrel? Yikes! Almost like a James Bonds-y type of experience ;) Great review!

@LenaKemp I was certainly thinking the same thing.

what would you recommend that i buy besides the blush? do you think that the foundation is worth buying?

I don't know...this product seems rather unnecessary to me. I personally like having my small compact palette and trusty lipstick in my bag. It'll probably weigh a fraction of this...and cost much less. AND I know how much product i have left, and can access all of it, to use it all....

Hi Lisa, how have u found the staying power of the concealer for under your eyes? I currently use Bobbi Brown but have been looking to try something different.. I swatched the tester at a counter and found or amazingly creamy! Oh, I recently suggested a bridesmaids makeup tutorial for a wedding (phillipines) thus June and read that you may do such a look... do u think u will be filming this soon? Thanks so much for your videos.. Love watching every one of them x

Beautiful! Please can you tell us the number of the colours you used? Especially the blush, eyes and lip colours.

Soooo gorgeous! The packaging AND the product are simply stunning! Def gonna check it out as this is the second time Ive seen/heard positive feedback. So cool. Looks like what the 1950s would expect makeup to look like in "" ...the year 2000.....""

From certain angles in this video you looked like Vanessa Paradis (and that's a good thing). I definitely will be checking this range out, especially the eye colours. The blusher looked amazing on you xx

This is absolutely gorgeous! We have had this range in Australia for a few months now and have been impressed when Ive played around with testers. When things run out, its going to be replaced with Ellis Faas.

@mizzworthy Me too! Thanks for your comment x
lisaeldridgedotcom - Monday 4th Jan 2010 11:21pm
@trstUrslf thanks for the comment and compliment! The products do last very well especially the eyeshadow which stayed on without creasing or fading for several hours (took some getting off!) x

Great review - I was lucky enough to attend the pre-launch of the range at Liberty, and I was really impressed with it. Apparently all the colours in the range exist in the human body, and so they suit everyone - the creamy eyes is amazing in terms of staying power too - I can't wait til it launches properly in the uk!
trstUrslf - Monday 4th Jan 2010 4:00pm
Thank you so informative- think you look glowing, with just a few products. Do they last?
Cupcake4me - Monday 4th Jan 2010 3:16pm
Looks like a flask Lol....looks great and the concept is different, but I'm interested in how much product you would get for your money. I still love the mess of a make-up bag lol :) Thanks for the review Lisa.
