No7's 75th Anniversary Shoot

I thought I'd show you some of the looks I created for Boots No7's 75th anniversary. There are 7 in total - one for each decade since the 40's but these are my personal favourites (60's, 40's, 70's and 90's).

All of the looks were created on one model so it was a very loooong day but a great one as I got to do exactly what I wanted and be creative. I think its amazing how different the model looks in each of the pictures, initially most people I showed all 7 to didn't believe it was the same girl - shows the power of make-up!

It was decided the best way to really showcase the make-up was to keep the model in more or less the same position for each shot and vary just the hair and lighting each time. Photographer Ben Hassett did an amazing job of really capturing a feel for each decade with clever lighting and hairdresser James Rowe made the perfect subtle statement each time with hair.

I also created the palettes/nails/lips which go with each decade. The eye shadows were chosen by the best sellers from each of the decades and it was great fun researching the archives looking at the original products and advertising for each era starting with their launch in the 1930's.

I have added all 7 to my gallery alongside each other so you can really see the transformation.

I love the 2nd pic from the top. truly! it's amazing how make-up transforms a face into completely different yet beautiful looks. can't wait for lisa to have in tutorial vid!!!!

Lisa may do a tutorial of the 40's look - I believe the one with the bold red lips! I love it and yours is the best so far!

I love the look of the one with bright red lips (although i don't think i'd be able to pull it off) and the nude look. Would you be doing tutorials for these two looks? it would be great if you did!!

Gorgeous! I wish we had boots in australia. In the 90s I wanted to look like cindy Crawford or claudia schifffer in the guess ads and I used to wear poppy lipstick in innocence (if anyone remembers that... super matte brown nude) with brown eyeliner as a lipliner.

They're all fab, but i just adore the 90's look. It's simple, but just beautiful and really says "90's" to me. I've problems with pigmentation around my eyes since the latter stages of my pregnancy last year. Any tips for concealment? And what's your fav treatment product? xx

I love the 60's, 40's and the 90's look, even if I can't really see where's the make-up on the 90's look :) It's sooo natural. maybe you could do a tutorial on that one..? I'd be also interested in a 60's tutorial, the 60's make-up and fashion are my favourite!!! silvia

Hi Lisa, I love every one of the looks and I find them so inspirational! Please do some of them on your tuts. I would die to see the 70s one with the cut crease. I know the technique but I'm sure you will add your clever and interesting tips as usual. Love them! Congratulations.

Wow all the looks are so beautiful. I love the 60s and 90s but would also be interested on how you would do an 80s look. Probably with all that super contour, super eyeshadow dynasty look.

I love this shoot! The work you did is so intelligent and clever! The deep research done of colors and lightning is very clear in these pictures. Gorgeous! The 60's are my favourites (here and through all of your gallery)!
