I recently worked on his shoot for the the current issue of Glamour shot by Photographer Alan Gelati and edited by their fab beauty director and 'skinny chick' Alessandra Steinherr. The model was non other than barefoot singing starlet Diana Vickers who is currently riding high in the charts with her debut single.
I loved the idea of Done and Undone looks and Alessandra and I quickly came up with the codename 'Glastonbury Versus Boulevard St Germain' in the lead up to the shoot. Its only when you see different looks on one person along side each other like this that you realise how truly transforming make-up can be!
These are my 2 favourite looks from the story - Faye Dunaway inspired kitten flick liner and pale sexy mouth and the warm, glowy natural look. For the 'Done' look I tried out Mac's penultimate liner in Black with lashings of Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara in Black. The lips were pale and interesting in Lord and Berrys Glazed Pink. For the 'Undone' look I used The Bobbi Brown shimmerbrick in Pink Quartz, buffing the deeper brown shade into the socket line and along the lower lashes to define and a wash of all the shades over lid, brow bone and cheekbones to highlight.
How are you wearing your make-up today....are you 'Done' or 'Undone'?

Thank you so much Lisa, I am going to investigate colour matches with respect to prolumiere and MUFE HD. Also thank you for recommending Lip fusion's gloss - I just received some in the post and it is absolutely magical!

@Lisa hope you like it, I wear it myself when i'm looking for a good pale/nude pink that blends in well with my skintone... plus its nice quality too x @For the Undone picture I used my all time favourite lip plumping gloss...Lip fusion's Colour Shine in 'Bare' which is a lovely tawny, peachy nude. I dont know if you wanted a plumping product but if you apply this to natural lips it really does work and it doesnt sting or prickle like some of them. There is a nice colour pay off too. I love Suqqu products so I will be using them A LOT. Thanks for your lovely comment x

Hi Lisa, I absolutely LOVE your videos and have learnt so much from you. You are a pleasure to watch! I wondered if you could tell me what you used on the lips for the 'undone' look...they look gorgeous and I'm trying to pull off a nude lip but finding it difficult not to look a bit corpse like! Thanks so much and I'm looking already forward to your next video X Also could you possibly do a product review of Suqqu...would love that!

@Effie congratulations on your new job! The MUFE HD is very good but I dont think it performs any better in pictures/on screen than pro lumiere. I'd say they are both great. I will try to do a blue eyes tutorial soon x

how fantastic - tonight I have been "done" to celebrate a job. But watching this I was pleased to see I have some things right ;-) the smashbox primer and MUFE HD powder are two recent discoveries for me. One question: I am looking to buy a new foundation and what is your opinion of the MUFE HD foundation? is it better on screen/photos than the prolumiere? Also it would be great if you could do a tutorial on making blue eyes pop (like you do for Sophie Dahl!) thanks so much

Hi Lisa :) today I'm "undone", just Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (porcelain), light flesh colour on the lid, light contouring of the crease, peachy-coral lipstick blended with fingers on my lips and cheecks (Rimmel Moisture Renew n. 610 - Spring Bouquet). And... mascara (L'oreal Telescopic carbon black. Thanks for your tips :) x
