Gallery Update - Step into Spring!

This shoot I worked on for Glamour magazine really got me excited for Spring as I had the chance to showcase some of the best new season’s make-up trends.

As you can see from the images, there are going to be lots of bold beauty colour statements this Spring with bright colours on eyes, lips and nails. I especially love this lilac, smoky eye look – using pretty, candy colours like this in a smoky wash feels really modern. For lips theres a choice of nude, super bright (think shocking raspberries and neon pinks) or 70's style red 'n' glossy - the choice is yours!

There’s also a huge focus this Spring on skin – this understated honey-bronze look is really pretty and, if you’re not a massive fan of bold, coloured make-up, it’s a great, subtle way to get your make-up Spring-ready.

I hope you like the looks – and that they get you geared up for all the Spring beauty trends!

Ps - its all the same girl but doesn't she look different with the different hair and make-up looks?

Both will carry into summer, but in case the products are seasonal can you do a tutorial for both soon? Brilliant and inspiring work. Definitely gave me some ideas for shoots to build my portfolio :)

I just stumbled upon you video tutorial on chanel.com for the Spring 2011 collection. I've been following you since you started uploading tutorials on YouTube and cannot express enough how grateful I am for all the information you are willing to share with us. I am not a make up artist and for the longest time I was confused and overwhelmed by all the products available on the market. Thanks to you I not only understand the function of the products now but I also truly enjoy the opportunity I get every time I experiment with colors and texture to be creative with the way I look. You've been the make up 'big sister' I never had =) A massive THANK YOU and congrats on the chanel gig. They couldn't have chosen a better MUA to showcase their new collection.

Dear Lisa, today my boyfriend returned to Vienna from Ireland, he brought me the Lip pencil No.7 in Nude. His brother who is in London will bring me the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (also not available in Vienna) and today I got myself the Vichy Dermablend, which works better than any concealer I ever tried. Do you think it might damage my under-eye-skin if I use it as a concleaer under the eyes? Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Anne G - Wednesday Mar 2nd 2011 9:57am

Could you do a demonstration of the Lilac Smokey Eye? What product have you used to get that amazing colour? x

Paula - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 2:03pm
The bronze-look looks very nude. Not what I would expect from new spring styles. I can see you from your "after the bafta-party"-youtube video in the first photo with the candy eyes. The girl is the perfect model indeed: lots of faces and versatile. Lisa, your channel provides so much feel-good. You have to be such a warm person. Glad I found you. But HOW did I find you?! Can't remember ...

Neslihan - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 1:43pm
Although im am a lover of bronze brown taupe colours on eye make up, I want to tey something lilac-y.Thank you Lisa. Absolutely great work.

Marta - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 2:52am
Beautiful shoots! She looks so diferent in each photo... you are true! I specially like the 2nd and 3rd looks! They both are very natural, elegant and chic! What a beautiful lip colour in the 2nd one!!

Graceful26 - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 2:41am
I love that you love colour! You're so inspired and, like you (and many of your viewers), I love picking what trends to try ahead of time to welcome a new season - especially after a dreary winter. You make "making up" so much fun - thank you for making something as girly and frivolous as lipsticks and shadows feel so relevant and ... that it's essential, really. Would love a tutorial on either of these looks.

maria - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 2:11am
What are the products you used for "The New Glossy Bronze"? She looks gorgeous there (& in all).

Janet -TheMoultonJ on YT - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 1:11am
Candy eyes…. love all the looks. She really does look different in each photo, it’s amazing what proper application of makeup can do. You are the best! xOx Janet

kitty - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 1:01am
WOW! the glossy bronze look is absolutely gorgeous...I rarely leave comments (although I am a religious fan of yours) but if you could, could you possibly do a tutorial on it?? if not, what are some key techniques to getting that look? thank you!

Sophie - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 12:43am
Wow, i love the make up as well as the atmosphere of the pictures ! Please, can you tell us what makeup did you use on the second picture ? It looks fantastic ! Bravo Lisa, those looks are gorgeous !! =)

Mia - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 12:26am
Oh Lisa if you have the time please do a video on the lilac smokey eye!! Stunning.

ElanaLugris - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 12:15am
Absolutely in love with the skin and the nudes. Red is a trademark of mine so saying I love it is borderline silly to me, lol. As always, fantastic and even the smokey violet looks, forgive the expresdion, "natural"!! It all looks warm but in a fresh spring way. Like I tweeted, hope to see "honey bronze" in a video, I'm a OCD with skin. Oxox

Catherine - Tuesday Mar 1st 2011 12:08am
I love the glossy bronze look...absolutely breathtaking! i have a question about the RMK crayon used in the last tutorial.Would it be a good choice for a mature eye with some loose skin on the hood of the eye? Most of the products I have tried in that area end up emphasizing the aging skin and I feel that I look younger without them. I would really appreciate your advice on a good product to try to emphasize my eye crease. Thank you for your help and all your wonderful tutorials Lisa!

Rae // theNotice - Monday Feb 28th 2011 11:48pm
Absolutely loving these looks! They're all breathtaking, but so from one another - were they all shot on the same day?

Kel - Monday Feb 28th 2011 11:38pm

sabariah - Monday Feb 28th 2011 11:32pm
Lilac, the color you did on your last video! Stunning! Can't wait for Spring now.

Kharina - Monday Feb 28th 2011 11:22pm
OOOeerrr, the marbled nail! I tried that the other week watching instructions on YouTube and accidentally knocked it over. Needless to say, a lot of harsh words came out and my guinea pigs were getting high on the fumes, so epic fail there. The last look is very Mariel Hemingway, so cool and polished!

Monday Feb 28th 2011 11:10pm
woah, i didn't even notice it was the same girl! hahaha!

Sophie - Monday Feb 28th 2011 10:52pm
is she the model of estee lauder this season? i am amazed by how different one could look like with hair style and makeup!

Josee Drapeau - Monday Feb 28th 2011 10:28pm
